Every PROPORTO panel is a well-thought-out process - from the first sketch to the innovative design of the finished product. We combine the precision of modern technologies with traditional Polish craftsmanship, creating a durable and unique decoration for years to come.
1. Original design and geometric rhythm
It all starts with finding a geometry that delights and at the same time offers endless arrangement possibilities. At the sketching stage, we test line arrangements, proportions, and surface carving. We look for patterns that look phenomenal both as a single accent and as a cohesive, mesmerizing composition of 15 elements.
2. Digital precision and magnetic engineering
Once the design is ready, we transfer it to a 3D (CAD) environment. Here, we refine the depth of the milling to a fraction of a millimeter, so that the light in your living room or office perfectly builds a three-dimensional shadow on the wood. At this stage, we also design the heart of the system - integrated, hidden magnets that allow for effortless installation and free rotation of the panels on the wall.
3. Selection of natural beech wood
We do not compromise. Only certified, top-grade beech wood is used for production. Each element is individually inspected by us for uniformity, density, and grain arrangement. Appropriate drying and seasoning processes ensure that the panels remain stable, do not warp, and maintain perfect geometry for years.
4. Carving with CNC technology
From the digital design, we create a precise program for numerically controlled machines (CNC). This is the moment where modern technology meets nature. Specialized milling cutters with surgical precision reproduce the designed arcs and lines, giving the raw beech a deep, three-dimensional structure.
5. Hand finishing (The heart of craftsmanship)
No machine can replace the human eye and experienced hands. After mechanical processing, each panel goes into the hands of a craftsman. Meticulous, manual sanding removes even the smallest microfibers. It is this stage that makes the panels velvety smooth to the touch, and their edges - perfectly fitted.
6. Ecological protection and magnetic finish
The final step is to protect the wood with a matte protective coating that prevents yellowing and allows it to "breathe". It enhances the noble shade of beech and protects it from daily use. Finally, we install our proprietary magnetic system in the back of the panels.
