It all started with a simple idea
Our story began with a very specific need. We wanted to create something that would allow for a dramatic change in the character of an interior in a simple way, but without the traditional scenario: no renovation, dust, drilling into walls, or complicated work.
Instead of looking for half-measures, we decided to design something completely our own. A product that would combine the nobility of natural material with unprecedented ease of installation.
Mielec – where it all begins
We are a brand from Mielec, and it is here that the heart of PROPORTO beats. All our projects are created here, and the entire production process takes place here – from the first ideas on paper to the packaging of finished sets.
Working on-site, in our own workshop, gives us something invaluable: full, rigorous control over the quality of every single panel that leaves our studio.
From design to magnetic breakthrough
We are not an intermediary or a mere seller. We design, test, and refine our products ourselves. The breakthrough was creating our own magnetic system. We wanted wall decoration not to be a "forever" decision.
By combining precisely milled wood with a magnetic self-adhesive base, we created a product that allows for a complete change of the pattern layout in just a few minutes.
Why do we do this?
We aimed to create a real alternative to classic, labor-intensive wall finishes. Something that can be installed quickly, with a spectacular effect visible immediately.
We consciously opted out of mass, impersonal production. We know that wood requires attention, which is why behind every panel lies advanced CNC technology and precise, meticulous human handiwork during finishing.
Polish craftsmanship in a modern edition
Production in Poland is our conscious and proud choice. It allows us to maintain repeatability, perfect element fit, and full control over the selection of beech raw material. It is also our way of supporting local craftsmanship and creating things that have true, lasting value.
Our approach
We focus on simplicity, quality, and functionality. PROPORTO panels are not only meant to be a beautiful decoration but also a solution that perfectly suits everyday life - durable, easy to maintain, and providing a lot of joy with every change of arrangement. We simply create things that we proudly hang in our own homes.
